Physics 207 Fall 1995- Exam 2prime

Instructor: Duncan Carlsmith

Go back to Physics 207 homepage

An optional exam will be offered on Friday 17 Nov at the usual time in place of Carlsmith's Friday lecture on Physics at 1e-15 m. The exam (called 2prime) will cover the material for exam 2. If you opt to take this exam, the instructor will replace your grade on exam 2 with the higher of the grades from exam 2 and exam 2prime.

You may submit one question for consideration as an exam problem. If your question is used, you obviously will know the answer! The question should be submitted by 8 November to your TA with a sketch of the problem and a complete solution. Each problem will be worth 25 points of 100 points. Your question should be unambiguously worded, contain a minimum of two roughly equal parts, and allow for the possibility of partial credit. The solution should not take more than one page and roughly 10 minutes. The problem must be original - not a carbon copy of a homework problem or example from the text.
